We took the train from Karprissia on the mianland to Kalamata where we caught a midnight boat to Kithera. This island is off the beaten track - a fact that was reinforced by the fact that a guy from Switzerland, Steph, and me were the only ones to get off the ferry at 4am.  It was the middle of nowhere and dark to boot.  We managed to find a cab and did some yoga in front of a Greek church before deciding what to do.  By 10am we crossed the island and found the beautiful city of Chora.
